Google OAuth Scopes We Request

How We Use Your Google Data

  • Account Creation & Authentication: We use your email to create and identify your LinkPre account, enabling secure sign-in without passwords.
  • Profile Personalization: Your name and profile picture may be used to pre-fill your LinkPre profile, which you can modify at any time.
  • Communication: We may send important account-related notifications to your email address.

Google Data Storage & Retention

Your Google account information (email, name, profile picture) is stored securely in our database. This data is retained for as long as your LinkPre account is active. Upon account deletion, all associated Google data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Revoking Google Access

You can revoke LinkPre's access to your Google account at any time:

  1. Visit your Google Account Permissions
  2. Find "LinkPre" in the list of connected apps
  3. Click "Remove Access"

Note: Revoking access will not delete your LinkPre account. You can still access your account using email OTP login, or contact us to delete your account entirely.

Google API Services User Data Policy

LinkPre's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and do not use this data for serving advertisements.

Upon receiving your deletion request, we will:

  • Verify your identity
  • Delete all personal data within 30 days
  • Confirm deletion via email
  • Remove Google account association (if applicable)
